We are blessed with many young children at Berean Bible Church.
During the adult prayer meeting or bible study the children particpate in Sunday School.
Readings are provided for the families to go through together at home. These readings are connected to the lesson each Lord’s day.
We strongly encourage family worship where parents are the primary teachers of the word of God at home.
In Sunday School, children are taught the Christian faith richly from God’s Word.
This is done through memory verses, catechism, hymns, songs and clear lessons rooted in the Bible.
At the end of the year, it is a joy to watch the children participate in a presentation showcasing some
of the things they have learned which in recent years includes showcasing in sign language.
This year, 2021, the BBC children displayed their knowledge by reciting catechism questions and answers,
declaring the truths of the Bible. This year the teachers had to prove the catechism answers by reciting a bible verse.
The children also recited bible verses and sung with sign actions.
It was such a blessing to see the children sing while signing the song “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ”.
After the yearly presentation, the children each receive a gift book to encourage
them as they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour.
It is a great comfort to know that Berean Bible Church Sunday School lays a solid
foundation in our children, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone.
