For many people the Christmas season is a special time of year. Why is that? Is it because it is filled with presents, parties, food and family? Surely the Christmas season is more than that.
At this time of year people all across the globe remember the birth of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, as recorded in the Bible.
Jesus is God’s appointed Saviour for sinful humanity. He is the greatest gift this world has ever known, because He is the answer to our deepest need (you can read about Jesus Christ in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, in the Bible).
When the angel announced the birth of Jesus he said, “There is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11)
We warmly invite you and your family to join us for a special service at this special time of year – Sunday, 22 December at 10.00am, when you will hear about the birth of Jesus and why He is the Saviour you need.
Why not come to church this Christmas season and hear about the Greatest Gift? We would love to see there.
We will gladly gift you a copy of John’s Gospel.
