Welcome

We are glad that you have taken the time to find us on the web. We invite you to browse our site and if possible to worship with us when you are in our area (1A Waterworks Road, North Ipswich). We are a congregation of ordinary believers who strive to be Christ-centred. It is our desire “that in all things He may have the pre-eminence,” Colossians 1:18. We also wish to embrace the Apostle Paul’s perspective – “I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 2:2. It is our heart’s desire to glorify and proclaim Jesus Christ

Sunday School Presentation 2019

We are blessed to participate
in family-integrated worship at Berean Bible Church.  Our service is followed by a prayer meeting,
during which time the children attend Sunday School.  Daily readings are provided for families to
work through together …

January Quotes: Charles Spurgeon

  • Remember this, had any other condition been better for you than the one in which you are, divine love would have put you there. You are placed by God in the most suitable circumstances… Be content with such things as you have, since the Lord has ordered all things for your good. Take up your own daily cross; it is the burden best suited for your shoulder, and will prove most effective to make you perfect in every good word and work to the glory of God. Morning & Evening: Evening Devotion for November 11th

  • He who lives without prayer - he who lives with little prayer - he who seldom reads the Word - he who seldom looks up to heaven for a fresh influence from on high – he will be the man whose heart will become dry and barren. Day by Day with C.H. Spurgeon: Devotion for April 15

  • You may fear that the Lord has passed you by, but it is not so: He who counts the stars, and calls them by their names, is in no danger of forgetting His own children. He knows your case as thoroughly as if you were the only creature He ever made, or the only saint He ever loved. Approach him and be at peace. Morning & Evening: Morning Devotion for February 24th

  • Pray that your faith may be no sham faith, but a giving up of your soul entirely into the hands of Christ. That your love to Christ may not be rhapsody, but a matter of real heart-affection. That your religious walk may not be for other people to see, but a walk before God. Sermon: The Seed Upon Stony Ground

  • My faith rests not upon what I am, or shall be, or feel, or know, but in what Christ is, in what He has done, and in what He is now doing for me. Morning & Evening: Morning Devotion for September 25th
