Welcome

We are glad that you have taken the time to find us on the web. We invite you to browse our site and if possible to worship with us when you are in our area (1A Waterworks Road, North Ipswich). We are a congregation of ordinary believers who strive to be Christ-centred. It is our desire “that in all things He may have the pre-eminence,” Colossians 1:18. We also wish to embrace the Apostle Paul’s perspective – “I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 2:2. It is our heart’s desire to glorify and proclaim Jesus Christ

  • Like it or not, unbelievers often base their views of Christianity on the behaviour of Jesus’ professed followers; at the very least, they use our hypocrisy to justify their rebellion against the Creator. Devotional Wisdom World

  • I think the greatest weakness in the church today is that almost no one believe that God invests His power in the Bible. Everyone is looking for power in a program, in a methodology, in a technique, in anything and everything but that in which God has placed it – His Word. He alone has the power to change lives for eternity, and that power is focused on the Scriptures. The Prayer of the Lord

  • If God is the Creator of the entire universe, then it must follow that He is the Lord of the whole universe. No part of the world is outside His Lordship. That means than no part of my life must be outside of His Lordship. The Holiness of God

  • The most violent expression of God’s wrath and justice is seen in the Cross. If ever a person had room to complain for injustice, it was Jesus. He was the only innocent man ever to be punished by God. If we stagger at the wrath of God, let us stagger at the Cross. Here is where our astonishment should be focused. The Holiness of God

  • God just doesn’t throw a life preserver to a drowning person, He goes to the bottom of the sea, and pulls a corpse form the bottom of the sea, takes him up on the bank, breathes into him the breath of life and makes him alive. How to know You’re Going to Heaven: Assurance for Today, Hope for Tomorrow
