Reformation 500 Service

Reformation 500 Service (1517-2017)

One hammer in the hand of a sixteenth century Augustinian monk changed the world forever! On the 31st October, 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to a church door in Wittenberg, Germany, calling his fellow professors to examine issues of extreme importance. So began the Protestant Reformation through which the light of God’s Word was brought out of the darkness to shine with dazzling brightness once more. The Christian Church and Western world have never been the same since and still the Reformation remains as supremely relevant today as it did when it reverberated throughout Europe five hundred years ago.

We invite you to this special 500 year celebration to worship God and hear how the Reformation relates to our day and your life. A light meal will follow after the service.
